San Francisco, Research In Motion (RIM) announced a new initiative to create a more friendly BlackBerry devices with gaming applications. If now Blackberry handheld is oriented to business, the entertainment will be highlighted on the next generation devices.

As reported by AFP, mobile phone manufacturers based in Canada that are improving the BlackBerry software to more easily accommodate the game. The developer will be easy to create 3D games and entertainment programs more intuitive type.

"We're making it easier for developers, gamers, and content providers to build graphics-rich experience for BlackBerry smartphones," said senior vice president of RIM's platform, Alan Brenner.

Such a move is issued as RIM's answer to the competition with Apple's iPhone smartphone and ranking using software made by Google's Android. iPhone has been featured multimedia platform to accommodate as many applications as possible to give the freedom of improvisation Android to third parties to use an open platform based on open source.
